Chris Holcomb, the weatherman for Atlanta’s WXIA, went on air last Thursday to report that a big snowstorm was approaching the region. Like many of us, however, his 18-year-old daughter, Claire, put more faith into her smartphone than the chief meteorologist at a major television station.
She texted her dad to say that her weather app didn’t predict any snow, which is when he fired back the best burn of all time: « Thank you. Maybe your weather app will pay for your college. »
Chris shared the text message exchange on Twitter, where it quickly went viral, racking up over 50,000 retweets.
